The bastion of antiques and art, the Sydney Antique Centre has now fallen prey to the sensation that is sweeping the globe - vintage clothing. In a new and exciting venture for the centre, the Sydney Antiques Centre Vintage Arcade is open and doing a roaring trade.
Items in the arcade range from beautiful 1950's dresses that Peggy Sue would be proud of, 80's jersey jumpsuits and sequinned party dresses for Debby Harry die-hards, incredible 1930's evening gowns and the odd designer find, like a 70's Gucci clutch or a classic Diane Frés boho gypsy dress. One store specialises in little black dresses for those who want to emulate Audrey.
